About Me
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, proud Latina, wife, and mom with over 15 years of experience in mental health. With specialized training in perinatal mental health and my own experiences navigating fertility challenges and motherhood, I'm passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause, anxiety, and life's many transitions.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and down-to-earth. I believe you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood, with room for honest conversations, practical tools, and even a little humor along the way. I welcome all parts of who you are, including your culture, identity, and lived experiences. You don't have to have everything figured out. Come as you are.
A Note About Language: Sessions are primarily conducted in English, with a little Spanglish along the way! I welcome Spanish-speaking and bilingual clients to express themselves in English, Spanish, or a mix of both, whatever feels most natural and comfortable. My hope is that you feel free to show up authentically, without having to translate or filter parts of who you are.
Therapy Specialities + Approach
Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy
As both a therapist and a mom, I understand that pregnancy, the postpartum period, and the transition into motherhood can be both meaningful and overwhelming. With specialized training in perinatal and postpartum mental health, I support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, infertility, miscarriage, and the emotional adjustments that often come with welcoming a new baby.
Perimenopause & Menopause Therapy
Perimenopause and menopause can bring unexpected changes to your emotional well-being, including anxiety, mood changes, irritability, brain fog, and feeling unlike yourself. Therapy provides a supportive space to better understand these changes, strengthen coping skills, and navigate this season with greater confidence.
Anxiety & Life Transitions
Anxiety often shows up during life's biggest transitions, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of yourself. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your anxiety while building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and like yourself again.
First Responders, Veterans, & Support
Whether you're serving as a first responder or veteran, or supporting a spouse or loved one who serves, the emotional weight of that role can be difficult to carry alone. I provide trauma-informed therapy to help women navigate chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and the unique demands that often accompany a life of service.

Yes. Many women experience increased anxiety, mood changes, irritability, brain fog, sleep difficulties, grief, or a sense that they've lost themselves during perimenopause and menopause. While these changes are common, you don't have to manage them alone. Therapy can help you understand the emotional impact of this transition, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and support your overall mental well-being. Many women also find that therapy works well alongside medical care from their primary care provider or OB/GYN.

The "baby blues" are common during the first couple of weeks after giving birth and often improve on their own. If feelings of anxiety, sadness, guilt, overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty bonding with your baby persist beyond two weeks or begin interfering with your daily life, it may be a sign of a perinatal or postpartum mental health concern. Therapy can help you navigate postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, birth trauma, and the many emotional adjustments that come with welcoming a new baby.
